CHILD (The)

They all scream, smile and plead,

That I spin, them, faster.

I oblige, they reply

With a

Joyous Laughter

Soon they’ll say ok

We’ve had enough today

And then they’ll play

A brand new game

And now I smile... for I have felt the child.

Baby smiled, frozen aisle, at the old man passing.

Momma sees, says

She’s just three

And they both start laughing.

Soon this child will change

Her life will re-arrange

But until then...

All the world’s a friend

And now I smile... for

I have felt the child
